Tips in Facing Asthma Attack

Naturally, parents will be so nervous and confused when their child has asthma attack. It is natural because as parents, you will always try to do your best in taking care of your child. However, you must learn to suppress such feeling because for asthmatic child that can be really disturbing.
When your child feels difficult to breathe because of asthma, do your best not to panic. If you’re panic, the situation will get worse. And what is not expected happen because you are busy calming yourselves down instead of moving quickly to take your child for treatment.
It is also natural instinct when suddenly you hold your child at the time of asthma attack, but for this case you should control yourselves not to cuddle your child because it will tighten their chest and they will be getting harder to breath. If you drive your child to physician don’t hold them on your lap, let your child stay on their seat to give them more space to breathe. However, it is important for you to do a safe drive.
Furthermore, here are additional tips to do as preparation – no one expect the asthma attack but it could happen anytime – when your child suffer the asthma attack. Always provide metered dose inhaler with spacer or aero-chamber because it is best to use with. Search as many as information from trustful resources like doctor or internet regarding to asthmatic child medical treatment. While at home, you can create a new and different room atmosphere to support the health of your asthmatic child.
