Mudpack Therapy

Talking about mudpacks might remind you of dirt and perhaps it invites your repulsion, but don’t get too fast to that conclusion because the dirt is being talked here is not one of any kind but beneficial for your health. Mudpacks are effective to treat some kinds of diseases for these have been found as a valuable thing to treat diseases like those relating to general weakness or nervous disorder and chronic inflammation. Many nature cure practitioners develop further treatment to treat disease using mudpacks.

Compare to cold water compress, mudpacks treatment gives retain moisture and coolness for longer periods. Mudpacks work effectively because its cold moisture relaxes the pores of the skin, draws the blood into the surfaces, and then relieves internal congestion and pain.

Thus, you can do the mudpacks therapy yourselves because it is easy. First, dig the clay from about ten cm below the earth surface. Filter the clay form compost or pebbles and other impurities materials. Place the clay in a bucket or small tub and add a bit amount of warm water, stir the mixture till it looks like a smooth paste. Then, let it to cool and spread on a strip of cloth. The size of the cloth depends on the area you need to treat. After you put the mud cloth and wrap it on the area of your body, it must be covered with flannel or other protective material. The therapy will be lasted 10 to 30 minutes.
