Stay awake at night too often will cause insomnia. Once insomnia happens, it may continue on the following nights. Most people, maybe including you too, decide to take sleeping pills to avoid insomnia. And later on, these sleeping pills become the only solution to take when your eyes refuse to rest. Finally, you get used to stay awake at night more often because you think that sleeping pills will help you anytime insomnia attacks you.
This is a false thought if you think sleeping pills is a savior for your restless night, because in the matter of fact, sleeping pills cause some bad effects. The unbeneficial effect you may get from consuming sleeping pills frequently endangers your life from time to time. Its side-effects are indigestion, skin rashes, lower resistance to infection, respiratory problems, bad appetite, high blood pressure, kidney and liver problem and mental confusion. Furthermore, sleeping pills may lower your IQ, dull the brain, and absolutely fatal if it is taken before or after consuming alcohol.
If you feel it is hard to cure your insomnia and sleeping pills have become your daily medicine, you are suggested to follow the following steps to overcome your addiction to sleeping pills. First of all, fix your sleeping schedule, two hours before midnight is better than four hours after. Decide the exact time to go to bed and to get up in the morning. Don’t force yourself to finish your pending job when you feel exhausted and sleepy.
If you stick on the schedule you’ve made, you will have a time to say good bye to insomnia.
